Tri-Pac, Inc. has announced expansion of its aerosol manufacturing facility in Vandalia, MI through the addition of two fully automatic, state-of-the art aerosol lines. Line One includes a Terco double index with an annual capacity of 10 million units capable of using Hydrocarbons, DME and Hydro-fluorocarbons, as well as inline propellant blending. Line Two is a fully integrated piston-filling operation with an annual capacity of six million units. The line is capable of filling high viscosity products requiring barrier piston packaging and dispensing. Tri-Pac’s facility utilizes the latest safety and fire prevention techniques, including a 24' x 7' gas detection system, wet and dry sprinklers, and ultraviolet/infrared (UV/IR) sensors.  The expanded operations also include an aerosol technology center and R&D lab to meet and service marketers’ requirements. The facility complies with all current good manufacturing practices (CGMP), as well as U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Founded in 2009 by Vikram Shah, who was previously associated with the Accra Pac Group and lead the start-up of Accra Pac India, Tri Pac was incorporated as a Total Service contract filler/packager of liquid products serving a diverse group of marketers. It has earned several awards, including Michigan Top 50 Companies to Watch 2011 and Best Small Business in Southwest Michigan 2010. The company also holds SBA 8A Certification and SAM Contractor Registration Certification.
