People in the News Revlon, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors elected Lorenzo Delpani as the company’s President and CEO, effective Nov. 1. Delpani replaces David Kennedy, who served briefly as Revlon’s Interim CEO and who will continue to serve as Revlon’s Vice Chairman. Prior to joining Revlon as part of its recent acquisition of The Colomer Group, Delpani served as Colomer’s CEO since 2007. Before that, he served in senior executive positions at Reckitt Benckiser plc, Johnson & Johnson and The Procter & Gamble Co. Falcon Safety Products Inc. announced the appointment of Steve Smith as Senior VP of Sales. Smith will be responsible for managing all sales activities in Falcon’s safety and marine horn 46 Spray December 2013 and Dust- Off brand markets in the U.S. and Canada. He previously served as Director of Sales at Sportcraft, Ltd. and Zippo Manufacturing Co., and holds a B.S. in History Education & Social Science from Bradley University. Marguerite Leluc has joined Drom Paris from Mane and will support the Paris office as a Key Account Manager. Aurélie Laubies joined Drom’s Evaluation Team in Paris. She previously worked as an evaluator and perfumer at F&F in Latin America. Rieke Dispensing has appointed Nicolas Lemaigre- Voreaux as its European Sales Director to spearhead the company’s growth program throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was previously VP Sales & Marketing, Europe with Calmar. Robert Taylor, the entrepreneur who introduced Softsoap hand soap in a pump to the market in 1978, and Obsession by Calvin Klein women’s fragrance in 1985, died in August of cancer. His career started in 1964 with the creation of Village Bath Products, and the later formation of Minnetonka. In 1987, Minnetonka sold Village Bath, Softsoap and Sesame Street Bath Products brands to Colgate- Palmolive. Unilever bought the rest of the company two years later for $376 million. Taylor went on to found Graham Webb International, which sells beauty products to salons; he sold it to Wella in 2001. Smith Leluc Laubies
