Packaging Innovations M&H Plastics M&H Plastics announced the addition of a new bottle shape to its portfolio of standard products. The 200ml Eternal (Ref. 5829) is manufactured in HDPE and has a gently flared shape with softly rounded shoulders. The 24/410 neck takes a large selection of standard closures that can totally change the appearance of the product. It is shown at right with a Single Wall X-Press cap, a lotion pump and a metallized pump. The appearance can also be changed by selecting different bottle colors or specialist finishes, such as the co-ex soft touch or a pearlescent finish. The product is suitable for a wide range of markets but its elegant shape makes it ideal for the premium sector, according to the company. 28 Spray May 2013 SeaCliff Beauty Packaging & Laboratories SeaCliff Beauty Packaging & Labs launched a family of airless bottle components with a range of capacities to fit a variety of product needs. The component is cylindrical in shape with a slight taper towards the bottom of the bottle and to the top of the overcap. The bottles come in 15ml, 30ml, 40ml and 120ml capacities. For differentiation, the bottle design reflects an “east meets west” style. The pump’s actuator also features a slim oval nozzle to complete the look. The bottles can be used for an entire skin care line including cleanser, serum, eye gel and moisturizer, but can also be used for cosmetic products such as foundation and primer. The airless bottle components are made out of ABS, SAN and PP material and can be injection molded, custom color sprayed or metal coated. Custom decoration such as silkscreen and hot stamp printing is also available. Albéa Albéa launched its new, integrated airless tube + pump packs, a cost-efficient format, according to the company. The new, highprotection systems offer a wide range of customization, including decoration technologies such as flexography, silkscreen, offset and hot stamping. Available now are 25mm and 30mm diameter pumps with the NEA pump and 25, 30 and 35mm with the SP343 pump, covering filling capacities from 15ml to 125ml. New formats will be launched in coming months for higher capacities. The dispensers deliver 360° application, precise and consistent dosage, and a high restitution rate, all in an easy-to-carry format. The dispensers are also designed for easy filling on high speed, standard tubes lines. Quadpack According to Quadpack, a foamy substance is easier to manage, especially for hair color products, where drips and stains are a constant threat. Developed by Quadpack’s manufacturing partner, Apollo, and using its patented technology, the Comb Foamer—a functional and elegant foam pump—allows the user to easily spread the product over the desired area, with no mess involved. As the name suggests, it is designed with a built-in comb that can be angled as desired (up to 360°) meaning a gloveless, hassle-free application that really gets into the roots.  The pump is unlocked with a simple twist and dosage is fixed at 0.80cc per stroke. As there are no metal parts in the product path, the Comb Foamer does not interfere with the hair treatment formula. Quadpack is the exclusive distributor of Apollo dispensers in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
