Packaging Innovations Neopac The new Airless Tube de Luxe from Hoffman-Neopac comes topped with either of Aptar’s Evolux or Evoclassic airless pumps to combine product protection with a luxurious look and feel. To prevent contamination and leaking, the pumps close automatically after dispensing a precise dosage of contents. The Evolux comes with optional metal collar, transparent plastic cap or metal cap. Both designs use Neopac’s patented Polyfoil tube, which is now available with an optional high-gloss finish. The Airless Tube de Luxe is suitable for personal care applications. Qosmedix With jet-setting consumers in mind, Qosina’s disposable personal care packaging division Qosmedix introduced two new sets of travel-sized plastic bottle sets, all with less than 3.4oz capacity. The 5-piece set includes a lotion pump, two spray bottles and two flip top bottles. The 10-piece set adds two twist cap bottles, as well as a jar, funnel, dropper and spatula. Both sets come in a transparent zipper bag, making them suitable both for retail sale and security checkpoints. All containers are fully compliant with U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements. Fusion Packaging Fusion Packaging expanded its selection of luxury packaging solutions with the addition of five new collections of single and double wall bottles ranging in size from 10- to 120mL. (1) Trace offers brand differentiation with a distinctive, three-sided and double-walled atmospheric bottle. Available in 15-, 30- and 50mL sizes, Trace is made of shatter-resistant glass substitute PMMA. (2) Mod is a slim-look plastic package available in 10-, 15- and 30mL sizes. (3) Haute, another airless solution, comes with a high degree of customizability, such as color injection, silk screening and heat transfer labeling. Haute is available in 30- and 50mL capacities, with the options of 0.15- or 0.23mL pump output. (4) For products with which first impressions are key, Vibe is a boldly-designed airless bottle with an acrylic outer shell and polypropylene inner container. Available in 15-, 30- and 40mL sizes, Vibe is suitable for lotions, serums, moisturizers and primers. (5) An elegant solution for larger-capacity packaging, Crescent is an atmospheric, double-walled bottle featuring a unique, sloping actuator, the half-moon shape of which gives the package its name.
