Leoni Sceti Berger June 2015 Spray 39 People in the News Elio Leoni Sceti, current CEO of European frozen food company Iglo Group, has been named the new CEO of Coty, Inc. Leoni Sceti will replace interim CEO Bart Brecht— who will retain his role as Chairman of the company—on July 1. Prior to Iglo, Leoni Sceti spent two years as CEO of EMI Music, and spent twenty years in various marketing and leadership roles at Procter & Gamble and Reckitt Benckiser. Coty also appointed Camillo Pane to the position of Executive VP, Category Development. Pane will join the executive committee, succeeding Renato Semerani. Pane most recently served as Senior VP & Global Category Officer, Consumer Health at Reckitt Benckiser. Dow Home, Institutional & Personal Care Solutions, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Co.’s Consumer Care division, named Chad Holzer to the position of Global Business Director. In the new role based in Philadelphia, PA, Holzer will manage a team of 400 employees across 12 Dow facilities worldwide. Holzer first joined Dow in 2009 as a marketing manager within the Building Solutions division. The Lubrizol Corp. announced that Albert Calvillo will assume the lead and management role of Active Ingredients Sales in EMEAI (Europe- Middle East-Africa-India) and Latin America, and will be relocating to Spain during the second quarter of 2015. Mikel Gorostiaga will assume the lead and management role of Active Ingredients Sales in the Asia/ Pacific region. Firmenich appointed Geneviève Berger as the company’s new Chief Research Officer, effective July 1. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, she will report directly to CEO Gilbert Ghostine. Berger most recently served as Chief R&D Officer at Unilever and replaces Toni Gautier, who will retire this summer. She has authored numerous patents, holds Ph.D.s in Physics and Human Biology, as well as an M.D., and served as Chairman of the European Commission’s Advisory Group for Health from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Firmenich appointed Boet Brinkgreve to the position of President, Firmenich China, in addition to his current responsibilities as head of the company’s global ingredient business unit.
