Coty Inc. announced that it has appointed Andraea Dawson-Shepherd to the newly created position of Senior VP, Corporate Affairs, reporting to Coty Chairman and Interim CEO Bart Becht. 42 Spray February 2016 Dawson-Shepherd will lead Coty’s communication and corporate affairs agenda as the company continues its expansion and transformation. L’Oréal appointed Nathalie Roos President of the Professional Products Division, joining the Executive Committee. Roos succeeds An Verhulst-Santos who will take on new important responsibilities within L’Oréal as of April, 2016. Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. announced that retail executive Sharon Leite has been appointed president of the Sally Beauty Supply LLC, U.S. and Canada business. Prior to joining Sally Beauty, she held various executive leadership roles since 2007 at Pier 1 Imports, Inc. as an Executive VP. The Fragrance Foundation announced Leslie Wexner, Founder, Chairman & CEO of L Brands, will be honored with the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame Award at the 2016 Fragrance Foundation Awards held on June 7 at Lincoln Center in New York City. The Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame Award annually honors a preeminent individual who has brought ingenuity, business acumen and creativity to the fragrance industry. DSM Personal Care appointed Dr. Thomas Rudolph as Global Head of Research & Development and member of its management team. He previously served in senior research and development positions in Sara Lee and Merck KGaA. He was Chairman of the COLIPA (now Cosmetics Europe) Task Force monitoring UV light sources and is a member of the DGK Task Force for sun care products. Firmenich’s Vice Chairman, Patrick Firmenich, joined the Fragrance Foundation Circle of Champions. The Foundation’s Board of Directors presented Patrick with the Circle of Champions Award, which recognizes an individual “who has had an extraordinary impact on the fragrance industry.” Firmenich also announced that Dr. Bérangère Magarinos-Ruchat, VP, Sustainability Partnerships, received last year’s Ethical Corporation’s Head of Sustainability of the Year award at its annual Responsible Business Awards ceremony in London in September.
