February 2016 Spray 43 Drom Fragrances welcomed Serap Gulludag as Business Development Manager. Before joining Drom, Gulludag worked for Symrise North America’s Scent & Care Division where she managed global and regional U.S. accounts in beauty, home care and air care categories. John Demsey will expand his responsibilities and become executive group president of The Estée Lauder Cos. He will add Clinique and the men’s skin care group to his portfolio while continuing to oversee Aramis and Designer Fragrances, Prescriptives, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London, Bumble and bumble, Tom Ford, Smashbox, Rodin olio lusso, Le Labo, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle and GlamGlow. Demsey will also lead a newly created Center of Excellence for Creative, continuing to advance capabilities, processes and talent development in this important area for the company. Jane Hertzmark Hudis will become Group President, The Estée Lauder Cos. and continue to lead the company’s Estée Lauder and Aerin brands while adding La Mer, Darphin, Origins and Aveda to her portfolio. Hudis will also join several leadership committees. Both executives will report directly to Fabrizio Freda, President & CEO. The appointments follow the previously announced retirement of Lynne Greene, Group President, who will work closely with Demsey and Hudis to help ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities as Greene prepares to retire on June 30, 2016. Vera Wang Group has named Veronique Gabai-Pinsky as its new President. She had already been working with the company as a strategist. Gabai-Pinsky recently served as President of Aramis and designer fragrances at The Estée Lauder Cos., while also leading its BeautyBank and IdeaBank divisions. Vera Wang had been leading the company since its former President, Mario Grauso, left in 2013.
