January 2016 Spray 31 People in the News Precision, global manufacturer of aerosol valves, actuators and other dispensing solutions, announced that Markus Raab has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. In his new role, Raab has assumed oversight of Precision’s commercial strategy execution, as well as development and management of relationships with key customers, including multi-national brand owners. Raab reports to President & CEO, Doug Hind. Raab has served as Regional Manager of Europe since 2013 and originally joined Precision as a Sales & Marketing Manager for Central & Eastern Europe in 2003. He began his career in various sales roles at Colgate Palmolive. Eric Frantz, CCL VP Operations, Home & Personal Care North America, has been elected President of the International Organization of Aluminum Aerosol Container Manufacturers (AEROBAL). He succeeds Giorgio Aliprandi of Ball Corp. John Demsey will expand his responsibilities to become Executive Group President, The Estée Lauder Cos. He will add Clinique and the Men’s Skincare Group to his portfolio and will also lead a newly-created Center of Excellence for Creative. Jane Hertzmark Hudis will become Group President at Estée Lauder and will continue to lead the company’s Estée Lauder and AERIN brands while adding La Mer, Darphin, Origins and Aveda to her portfolio. Sandra Breene, former President of Croda Health Care & Crop Care, has assumed the role of President of Croda Personal Care & Actives as of Jan. 1. She succeeds Kevin Gallagher, who has retired. Breene joined the Croda Europe office in 1990 as an R&D Chemist, later becoming European Sales Manager. During the last ten years she has held business leadership positions in Croda’s Personal Care, Life Sciences and Performance Technology divisions, and following a global restructure in 2014 was named Sector President Crop & Health Care. Breene has a degree in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry & Toxicology from Hull University and an MBA from the University of Leeds. The newly combined DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers and DuPont Performance Polymers businesses will be led by Patrick Lindner, currently President of DuPont Performance Polymers. The newly combined DuPont Protection Technologies and DuPont Building Innovations businesses—which will be called DuPont Protection Solutions—will be led by Rose Lee, currently president of the Breene DuPont Protection Technologies business.
