Getting started… Polar Premium Starting Fluid from Warren Performance Products starts stubborn engines fast. The product is specially formulated with a high concentration of ethyl ethers to quickly and effectively start all types of gasoline and diesel engines, even under the most severe weather conditions. It also contains upper cylinder lubricant to reduce wear. This diesel fuel additive complies with the federal low sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor vehicles and non-road engines. It’s filled by Technical Chemical and comes in a can from DS Containers. Stay safe with PurCheck HSI Fire & Safety Group, LLC of Elk Grove Village, IL recently released a new generation of its 25S SmokeCheck aerosol smoke detector tester, designed for functionally testing both ionizing and photo-sensitive detector units. The new product, designated 30S PurCheck, combines the internationally recognized effectiveness of the original SmokeCheck with the non-flammable characteristics of Honeywell’s Solstice HFO-1234ze(E) 1,1,1,3-tetrafluoroprop-1-ene propellant. According to the company, the PurCheck formulation has been found to be “totally non-flammable” by every known flammability test and under all foreseeable conditions of intended use and temperature, while having a negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP) of six. SmokeCheck has carried the UL/ ULC seals of approval since 1979 and PurCheck was recently awarded the same recognitions. Both products work by briefly surrounding the sensing element of smoke detectors with a sub-micron diameter mist of “synthetic smoke.” If the detector is functional, an alarm will sound almost immediately. Well over 100 domestic and industrial smoke detectors can be tested from just one aerosol can. PurCheck comes in a two-piece ITW Sexton DOT-2Q can and is filled by Shield Packaging Co. To the MAX New Valspar MAX Anti-Rust aerosol paint helps stop rust from spreading under the surface, even when scratched. MAX coverage quick-dries to a tough, durable finish (with no drips) and is a direct-to-metal paint, so primer is only necessary for corroded surfaces or to provide a smoother finish that lasts even longer.
