May 2015 Spray 41 VariBlend VariBlend introduced its latest dual dispensing solution, a 30mL PET bottle designed specifically for onthe go beauty products, particularly in the skin care market. The new bottle, provided by Sonoco, integrates with VariBlend’s 40mm dispenser with a new locking cap, aimed at preserving product integrity. The new package incorporates VariBlend’s patented custom-blending, dual-dispensing technology. Fusion Fusion Packaging debuted Direct Effect, a new line of three piston-driven airless direct applicators designed for skin care products. The Direct Effect Curved Tip Airless applicator features a dual-resin tip and ergonomic curved design, allowing it to contour to delicate areas of the face. The color-customizable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tip massages product into the skin. The Direct Effect single Rollerball Airless applicator (right) combines a stainless steel roller with a plush TPE ring for a soothing application experience around eyes and lips, according to the manufacturer. Finally, the Direct Effect Dual Rollerball Airless applicator offers two stainless steel balls designed for the under-eye area, helping to promote circulation and provide “de-puffing” benefits.
