Vermont maple producer puts organic syrup in an aerosol
Coombs Family Farms, Brattleboro, VT, launched Maple
Stream Sprayable Maple Syrup—a Grade A, organic maple
syrup in an aerosol spray. Easy-to-use Maple Stream is fun, engaging
and tasty, with no waste, mess
or spill. The spout means
there are no more sticky,
stuck-on caps, making
it easier for kids to
use. Maple Stream
doesn’t need
to be refrigerated
and can be
stored anywhere.
Arnold
Coombs, Director
of Sales &
Marketing for
Bascom Maple Products,
the parent company
of Coombs Family
Farms, told the Brattleboro
March 2019 Spray 39
Reformer that Maple Stream is currently
available in a 7 fluid-ounce container,
a size highly suitable for kids’
smaller hands. However, Coombs
stated that the company is thinking
of producing larger, commercial-sized
containers for food services or bars.
He noted that feedback from bartenders
who use maple for specialty
cocktails—such as Maple Mojitos—are
very excited about the new “sprayable”
technology due to its convenience.
In addition to topping pancakes,
waffles, cocktails and desserts, the
amber-colored confection can be
used in cooking, grilling, camping
or anywhere a shot of maple syrup is
needed. Just point, stream and enjoy.
Maple Stream is filled by Signature
Filling and comes in a can from Montebello
