Lindal Group has unveiled a new website, www.lindalgroup.com,
with improved product information, including 360-degree product views, a
new color coding system that links colors to market segments and revamped
search functionality and intuitive navigation. In addition, Lindal added a
fresh and contemporary look.

WD-40 Co. has moved its R&D facility and labs. The new WD-40

Bayer AG announced it plans to cut 12,000 jobs or approximately
10% of its workforce and sell its Coppertone sunscreens, Dr. Scholl’s
foot products and animal-health business. “Through these moves,
the company intends to focus on driving profitable growth in its core
Consumer Health categories,” Bayer said in a statement regarding
Coppertone and Dr. Scholl’s. The company said it wants to invest
more in its core businesses of pharmaceuticals, consumer health and
crop science.
Avon Products, Inc. announced its “Open Up” strategy to simplify its
operating structure, reduce product line complexity, reduce inventory
levels by 15% and SKUs by 25% and reduce its global workforce by
10%. The job cuts will be completed in 2019 and follow an 8% workforce
reduction in 2018. SKU reduction efforts will force Avon to take
a one-time inventory obsolescence expense of $88 million, which
will result in lower operational and ongoing obsolescence costs and a
focus on higher margin products.
Unilever has revealed fragrance ingredients down to 0.01% of product
formulas for more than 1,100 beauty and personal care products
in the U.S. Encompassing 15 brands, Unilever’s ingredients and
potential allergens are available through the new SmartLabel digital
platform whereby UPC labels can be scanned by apps in-store and
