2016 Directory ofContract Fillers SPRAY’s annual A-Z reference for finding filling partners both in the U.S. and internationally. The past year has been, for the most part, a positive one for the contract filler industry, with a fair amount of plant openings and expansions, as well as a number of mergers and acquisitions. For a more detailed look at what fillers have been up to in 2015, turn to p. 15 for our featured fillers report. Fillers’ Feedback “Yes, 2015 was a good year. Our expectations for 2016 are to increase exportations. Regulatory factors provide the greatest challenge to exportations.” Argentina “The year 2015 was average; OK, but not enough. We need to focus on the market more this year than in 2015!” Turkey “2015 was a good year, but price erosion is affecting long term strategies within the category. We’re expecting moderate growth for 2016. Evolving customer requirements, coupled with eroding price points, a tight job market and increasing benefit costs presented the greatest challenge in 2015.” U.S. Midwest “2015 was a great year for contract fillers. Cost savings could be passed on to the customer base and sales grew in all markets.” U.S. Northeast “We specialized in bag-on-valve (BOV) filling; we saw nice results, especially in the Health & Beauty Care (HBC) segment. We foresee further growth in 2016 in this category”. The Netherlands “2015 was a good year. Regulatory was our biggest challenge in 2015.” U.S. Midwest “2015 can be considered a good year for our company. The economic crisis produced an inverse effect, with foreign companies entering the market due to the favorable exchange rate of the U.S. dollar; mergers and acquisitions; and local production to reduce the high cost of imports. We have been the center of year-round negotiations and releases with companies from many countries.” Brazil “The greatest challenge was the expansion of bag-onvalve (BOV) technology.” The Netherlands “We continue to exhibit at Automechanka/Frankfurt, PLMA/Amsterdam, Equipauto/Paris and IPLS/Moscow. We focus on winter products, air conditioner cleaners, technical sprays and cosmetic products. Our strength is private label production, especially flexible projects with low Minimum Order Quantity requirements (MOQs).” Hungary “We look forward to new business!” Germany March 2016 Spray 29
