Ball Corp. announced the promotion of Manette Snow to the position of VP, Diversity & Inclusion. In this newlycreated role, Snow will develop and implement best practices regarding attracting and retaining diversity within the company. Snow has been with the company since 2007, most recently serving as VP, Total Rewards & Analytics. Snow Snead-Smith The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) announced three internal promotions. Wanda Stokes was promoted from Associate Director of Administration to Director of Administration. She joined ACI in 2003. Martha Chapin was named Associate Director, Education & Web Services. She joined ACI in 2008 and previously served as Senior Manager, Education & Web Services. Finally Leonard Bellisario was named Manager, Government Affairs. He joined ACI in 2013 as Government Affairs Coordinator. Aptar promoted Elisabeth Salom L’Ancien to the position of VP, Business Develop- March 2015 Spray 45 People in the News ment of the company’s Fragrance division. She joined Aptar in 1998, working with clients such as L’Oréal, Cartier and Clarins. Most recently, she served as Director of Business Development within the Fragrance division, a role she has held since 2010. Dr. Tammo Boinowitz was named Head of Personal Care by specialty chemicals firm Evonik. He succeeds Dr. Dietmar Moll, who will shift to an unspecified new role within the company. Dr. Boinowitz first joined the former Goldschmit AG in 1995 and has led Evonik’s Comfort & Insulation business line since 2011. Evonik also appointed Steven Snead-Smith to the position of Business Director, Household Care, in which he will be responsible for all Home Care and Fabric Care business operations in North America. Snead-Smith has spent more than 20 years in the chemical industry and recently served as chair of the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Center for Polyurethane Institute (CPI). Finally, Dr. Ulrich Küstardt was named Evonik’s new Chief Innovation Officer. He has been in charge of the company’s Coatings & Additives unit since 2008. He succeeds Dr. Peter Nagler. Colleen Ooten was named Supply Chain Director for TricorBraun’s Central Division. She brings more than 20 years of supply chain management experience to the company, most recently with alcoholic beverages company Diageo. Nick Pickthall was promoted to the newly-created position of COO by CPL Aromas. A 16-year veteran with the company, Pickthall has held management positions in the UK, U.S. and most recently as Managing Director of CPL Aromas Latin America. He will be based in the UK, but will assume responsibility for a number of the company’s key global growth areas. SPRAY Boinowitz
