The aerosol mechanism allows body butter products to be neatly dispensed without environmental exposure, thereby helping to prevent contamination. The initial product will combine shea butter with passion flower oil in 100% recyclable 75, 100, 150 and 200mL cans. With this in mind, American Spraytech, the Branchburg, NJ, based contract filler for cosmetic and OTC drug aerosol sprays, announced that Robert Daria has joined the company as Manager of Business Development. Daria is a veteran of the aerosol industry; prior to joining American Spraytech, he worked at Lindal North America as Technical Manager/Sales Support for eight years. Daria began his career at Precision Valve Co. as Lab Technician and over the next twenty nine years became well known to the industry as its Laboratory Manager. Allen Lalwani, President of American Spraytech, noted that Daria joins an honored list of industry giants who over the years have contributed to the growth and reputation enjoyed by the company today, such as William Lueschen, Robert Swiatecki and Joseph Iappelli. “With Bob on board, we will further enhance our service to our customers by offering, in addition to our in-house Innovations Lab, the added insight of one of the best known valve experts in the industry,” commented Lalwani. Precise Packaging, LLC of Fall River, MA has appointed Shaun Gaus as its new CEO and President. Prior to joining Precise Packaging, Gaus was Managing Director, Specialty Films, North America at Bayer Material Science In 2014, Precise Packaging improved its liquid and aerosol capabilities, increased its propellant and alcohol storage, expanded its formulation lab and added key personnel in Quality and Manufacturing to increase opportunities in the marketplace, according to Gaus.
