Combination cap & work support system
U.S. Patent No. 9,962,893
Preddis LLC
Preddis, LLC, Everett, WA and San Antonio, TX, patented
a combination cap and work support system. This
system includes a lower section configured to connect to
a container and an upper section configured to provide
a desired support to an object. The combination cap and
work support system may be utilized alone or in multiples
to support an object above a work surface during a project.
Configurations of the upper section generally include
multiple apices separated by areas having a reduced height
and configured to support an object directly on the apices—
or between the apices—to provide a desired combination
of support and stability. The combination cap and work
support system may be included as part of a kit in conjunction
with a compatible container, such as a can of sprayable
u
surface coating. According to Michael Worden, Founder,
Preddis LLC, the combination cap and work support system
are geared to aerosol use as a main objective.
Superabsorbent polymers & sunscreen actives for use in skin care compositions
U.S. Patent No. 9,839,598
The Procter & Gamble Co.
The Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, OH, patented a skin care composition having from about 0.01% to about 5%, by weight,
of a superabsorbent polymer that is a sodium polyacrylate, sodium polacrylate starch, sodium acrylates crosspolymer-2 or mixtures
of these and a portion of the polymer comprised of a grafted starch material. The superabsorbent polymer is particulate where the
particles have an average particle size in the range of about 5.mu.–30.mu. and the individual particles in their dry or un-swollen
condition are substantially non-spherical, flat, platelet or elongated in shape. The particles have an absorption capacity of at least
about 1,000 times their initial dry or un-swollen volume. Additionally, the skin care composition contains from about 0.01–10%
of a dry powder that is either starch- or silicone-based and wherein the dry powder is coated with a silicone-based material. Further
there is provided a UV active.
Body odor suppressing agent
U.S. Patent No. 9,737,467
Mandom Corp.
Mandom Corp., Osaka, Japan, patented a body odor suppressing agent that contains activated carbon. It causes no black soiling
on an object to be coated and has “excellent” practical aptitude. The present invention also provides an “excellent” feeling of
use when the agent is applied to the skin. It is capable of preventing nozzles from clogging when the agent is packed into a spray
container and used. The body odor suppressing agent of the present invention includes a titanium oxide-coated activated carbon
including an activated carbon having an average particle diameter of 15–50.mu.m and a titanium oxide present over the surface of
the activated carbon.
