Packaging Innovations Aptar Beauty+Home developed Irresistible, protective packaging created for sensitive formulas with few or no preservatives. It helps to prevent microbiological contamination inside the bottle, avoiding any formula distortion: fading, instability and germ proliferation, particularly bacteria. Irresistible provides the technicality of a pump combined with a protective pouch system that helps prevent risk of leakage on a broad range of viscosities. The pump is based on three complementary technologies: a sterilizing filter, a hermetic obturator-tip seal and sealing due to the ultrasonic welding of the tip seal to the actuator. It is offered in four sizes: 20-, 30-, 40- and 50mL. It is also available with a straight metal collar with silver or gold finish or a curved plastic collar with a matte plastic finish for a more affordable offer. Color options are also available for the bottle and pouch, as well as silk-screen decorating. Qosmedix expanded its collection of aluminum packaging by introducing two new black slim bottles. These 8 oz. (240 mL) aluminum bottles are available with a spray pump and clear cap (Part # 30031) and a lotion pump with clear cap (Part # 30032). The modern, sleek look of these bottles makes them suitable for packaging a proprietary formula, for counter supply use or in a spa/salon setting. Private label options are available. WestRock introduced Sinfonia Infinite. The new pump elevates the skincare, hair care and personal care experience by featuring a higher output and a 200% more elongated spray for a voluminous and enveloping experience with each use. It allows for greater adherence on skin with a dryer and cloudlike spray, offering an experience of luxury and well-being. It maintains Sinfonia’s broad range of stock closure sizes. 30 Spray January 2017 M&H announced two new additions to its Tubular range: a 125mL (4.2fl.oz.) Tubular in PET with a 24/410 neck (Ref: 4301) and an HDPE Tubular Foamer with a 43mm neck (Ref: 5C37). A wide range of closures and applicators are available for the 4301, and F2 and F3 Foamer pumps are available for the 5C37 standard, allowing users to dispense product as required.
