Unilever’s deodorant brands launch new Anti-Marks Technology Unilever, the global consumer products company that introduced Dry Spray antiperspirant two years ago, recently launched new Anti- Marks Antiperspirant Technology that helps prevent white marks on dark clothes and the formation of yellow stains on white clothes. While consumers are quick to point the finger at themselves, the yellow discoloration under the arms is caused by a combination of skin oil, sweat, active ingredients and laundering. The formulation—currently available in nearly 40 global markets and now available in the U.S.—will be featured in Dry Spray format across five key brands: Degree Men, Degree Women, Dove, Dove Men+Care and AXE. On a mission to address more than just underarm concerns, Unilever is moving from skin to style with products that provide 48-hour odor and wetness protection while safeguarding consumers’ favorite clothes. Degree Women and Degree Men Ultra Clear Black+White Antiperspirants leave no white marks on black clothes and no yellow stains on white clothes by protecting clothes from deodorant stains and offering 48-hour sweat protection. Dove and Dove Men+Care Invisible Antiperspirants are formulated to leave no white marks on 100 colors of clothing, according to Unilever. The formulas provide 48-hour protection and all the care of Dove with ¼ moisturizer technology. AXE Anti-Marks Protection Antiperspirants leverage anti-marks technology that helps keep black shirts black and white shirts white. The Degree Women Ultra Clear Black+White can is supplied by Moravia Cans, while the rest of the product’s cans are supplied by Ball. All products sport valves supplied by Lindal.
