Spray January 2016

January 2016 Spray 25 spread awareness about the importance of education in product safety. In early 2016, ACE will also launch a new Ace Clean and Professor Grime video and lesson plans on hand washing and healthy hygiene in the classroom. The video is expected to reach over 200,000 elementary teachers and is a first step in expanding the ACE Disease Prevention Program. As the second phase of ACE 2.0 reaches full swing in 2016, expect to see new projects and campaigns coming from all four of ACE’s programs. ACE is no longer just “the Inhalant Group.” With the rebranding initiative and new program approach, ACE is now the “Consumer Education Group,” working to make sure consumers are safely and appropriately interacting with household products. As marketers, suppliers, contractors and fillers discuss the lifecycle of a product from inception to shelf, ACE takes over in the product cycle journey when the consumer picks the product up in the store. ACE’s program messaging now targets both young and adult consumers as they interact with and use household products. Messaging revolves around ACE plans to launch a new Professor Grime and Ace Clean video and lesson plans on hand washing and healthy hygiene in the classroom. The new ACE website OK!TV partnered with ACE for its most successful campaign in 2015. appropriately using the product, correctly and safely storing the product and properly disposing of the product. Back to School Loft Party This stewardship message is something every household and institutional product company (whether a marketer, supplier, contractor or filler) can support. ACE is working to create more educated and knowledgeable consumers. More knowledgeable consumers will result in a reduced rate of product misuse and abuse and an increased rate of correct use; therefore increasing consumer trust and loyalty in household and institutional products, and creating safe, healthy communities. We work closely with families to take their stories of loss and help them create learning experiences for others. In August 2015, we saw this process come full circle as cameras and film crews flooded the Doherty house, filled with Aria’s family and friends. For the first time in the two years since Aria’s passing, her family and friends were ready to discuss that devastating day in March 2013 in order to help prevent other families from experiencing the same tragedy. Their story, as well as others, will be featured in a new educational video, co-sponsored by ACE. To stay up to date on ACE’s progress sign up for its newsletter at www.
