Drom Fragrances introduced Renee Latour as a new Senior Account Manager. Latour brings prior experience from Agilex Fragrances as an Account Executive, as well as from Avon Products and L’Oréal. TRI-K Industries, Inc. named four additions to its U.S. sales force. Siddharth Patil joins the company from Galaxy Surfactants. He will serve in the Product Performance Division (PPD). Danielle Wheeler brings experience from DSM Nutritional Products, Harcros Chemicals and Energizer Personal Care to her new role as Sales Account Manager, South East. Rebecca Weitting will serve as Sales Account Manager, Mid-West. She previously worked in sales at Corbion Purac and Cognis. Finally, Stephen Carter was promoted to Associate-Inside Sales. SPRAY People in the News Elio Leoni Sceti, who was expected to assume the role of CEO at Coty, Inc. in July, reconsidered and decided not to join the company. As a result, Bart Becht will remain as Interim CEO and continue in his role as Chairman. Leoni Sceti will receive $1.75 million in severance, according to a U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) filing. Guillaume Jesel has been named Senior VP & Global General Manager of Tom Ford Beauty by parent company Estée Lauder. Jesel has been with the company for 14 years, most recently serving as VP, Global Makeup Marketing and Senior VP of Global & North America Marketing for the MAC Cosmetics brand. Burt Shavitz, co-founder and namesake of Burt’s Bees, passed away in Bangor, ME on July 5 of respiratory problems at the age of 80. In 1984, along with Roxanne Quimby, he turned his local beeswax business into what would become Shavitz an international personal care brand. Latour August 2015 Spray 79 Ro Oteri, former Business Unit Director, Personal Care for Amcol Health & Beauty Solutions and VP & GM of Presperse, Inc., founded Sixth-Man Consulting, a new firm focused on specialty chemicals and materials manufacturers aiming to grow or start a business in the personal care industry. The Supervisory Board of Evonik Industries AG voted unanimously to end Patrik Wohlhauser’s term as COO and his position on the company’s Executive Board. The reason for Wohlhauser’s departure was Kaufmann not disclosed, although the company states that he leaves on amicable terms. Ralph Kaufmann was appointed Wohlhauser’s replacement, both on the board and as COO. Kaufman has spent the last 14 years as a managing partner of German-based SCOPEIN Management Consultants.
