April 2015 Spray 29 Procter & Gamble selects plastic container for new aerosol shave gel For its newest shaving product, Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2-in-1 Shave Gel Plus Skin Care, Procter & Gamble selected Airopack’s plastic pressurized dispenser, noting the packaging system’s no-rust, mess-free flow qualities, 360° dispensing and transparent gel gauge window, allowing users to see how much product remains. Available in three varieties: Active Sport, Alpine Clean and Ocean Breeze, Gillette ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel promises a soft and smooth feel after every shave, according to the brand. First introduced in 2013, the “powered-by-air” rigid plastic dispensing system earned Airopack the Luxe Pack in Green Award at Luxe Pack New York last May for its innovation and environmental sensitivity. Gillette is the third major global brand to select Airopack’s packaging solution for one of its products, following Elizabeth Arden and Method.
