Packaging Innovations 24 Spray September 2013 Quadpack Quadpack introduced a new foamer that meets demands for increased sustainability. The Eco Foamer uses a recycled PET (rPET) bottle sourced locally in Europe, combined with the Apollo foam pump. With decoration options including color matching and metalized collars, the product is suitable for luxury organic brands. The rPET bottle can be made with either 100% or 50% recycled content, depending on requirements, and is available in standard 150ml and 50ml travel-sized packs. The Apollo pump’s patented foam technology uses three different meshes to produce different densities to suit different applications, such as cleansing, skin care and baby care. With no metal parts in the product path, the pump helps safeguard formula integrity, a particularly important consideration for organic brands. A choice of interchangeable applicators can further enhance performance. Besides the standard actuator, a silicon brush and a comb applicator can be used on the same pump. Aptar Beauty + Home Offering an ultra-fine spray pattern, Aptar’s Mambo modular aerosol spray cap was developed for hair styling and deodorant applications. Mambo spray cap is available in 49mm and 52mm diameters, fitting both necked-in tinplate cans and transfer aluminum cans. The spray arm can be supplied with various inserts to optimize the required spray pattern. Mambo has a reduced weight, which contributes to sustainability. It is easily modifiable by custom shell, thanks to the modularity of the spray arm and assembly machine. Mambo is compatible with all existing high-speed capping lines and provides the advantage of an easy positioning during assembly. M&H Plastics M&H has added the new 200ml HDPE Iris bottle (Ref. 5592) to its portfolio of standard products. The bottle has been designed to reflect the curved shape of the Iris flower and is suitable for a wide range of markets. The Iris joins the 100ml (Ref. 2182) and 200ml (Ref. 2183) which are manufactured in PVC/ PCTG/PETG. All bottles have a 24/410 neck, taking a large selection of standard closures.
