The Thai Aerosol Association (TAA) released figures for aerosol production in Thailand for 2012. Production was up a healthy 10.3% from 2011. Household Products (40%) and Personal Care Products (41%) were just about even in production numbers, while the Other category grew to 19%, up from 12% in 2011. The use of aluminum jumped considerably from last year, from 107 million pieces to just over 131 million pieces in 2012. Tinplate steel cans declined, however, from 105 million pieces in 2011 to 102.5 million pieces in 2012. monsoon season, which resulted in a strong demand for Household Care products, especially at the end of 2011 and early 2012.
