Pet deodorant products represented 44% of the total U.S. pet supplies market in 2011 and have played a key role in driving sales growth in recent years, noted Mintel. One such product is Spot Shot Pet Instant Carpet & Stain Odor Eliminator from WD-40 Co. Spot Shot helps eliminate tough pet stains and their equally tough odors. It is specially formulated to get out the worst stains, including cat urine, dog feces and the alwayspopular dirty or greasy paw prints, while still being gentle to carpet’s fibers.
