People in the News Charlie Ortmann was promoted to National Sales Manager of Diversified CPC. A board member of the Consumer Aerosol Products Council (CAPCO) and the Western Aerosol Information Bureau (WAIB), Ortmann will oversee key national accounts. He has been with the company for 22 years. Aeropres Corp. appointed Chris Rea as CFO and Treasurer. Daniel Bonner also joined the company as Midwest Quality Assurance Manager, responsible for Aeropres facilities in Morris and Manhattan, IL. Robertet named Kent Swan as the new VP of Purchasing for Robertet U.S. Swan 46 Spray May 2014 will be responsible for all raw materials purchasing for the fragrance, flavor and ingredients divisions. He brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the position, most recently with Symrise. Roger Howell, Chief Perfumer at Alpha Aromatics, Inc., was promoted to VP of operations. With more than three decades’ experience in fragrance creation and manufacturing, Howell will oversee the future development and expansion of the company. The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) announced a series of promotions. Paul DeLeo was named Associate VP, Environmental Safety. DeLeo joined ACI in 2007. He previously served as a Consumer Safety Officer for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Jacob Cassady was promoted to Associate Director, Government Affairs. Melissa Bernardo and Sandra Andrade were introduced as Senior Managers, Sustainability Initiatives and Meetings & Membership, respectively. Shawnté Furbush-Jones was named Coordinator, Education. The British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) appointed Grant Coupland as its new Chairman. He is currently the Marketing & Innovation Director at Colep.
