MeadWestvaco Corp. launched Aerosense, an ergonomic aerosol sprayer specifically designed for products such as sun care, body spray deodorant and hair spray. Aerosense features easier actuation and a continuous, even spray pattern. Additionally, its locking feature helps prevent the sprayer from unexpectedly activating in a bag or suitcase. The design provides a distinctive look and consumers enjoy a comfortable spray experience, which, according to the company, leads to increased brand loyalty. ITW Sexton and eStyle Caps & Closures ITW Sexton announced that eStyle Caps & Closures will produce single- and double-shell overcaps for its 211 diameter dome DoT 2P/2Q aerosol cans. They are used for a variety of products, including vehicle care, winter chemicals, and adhesives & sealants, as well as for many other industrial and consumer applications. Cap materials include polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), clarified polypropylene (CPP) and blended co-polymers. Rexam The Rexam SP5 miniature pump powers the Cateyga-designed Clean Your Screen system for “de-fingerprinting” smartphones. Manufactured in Rexam’s Le Treport, France facility, the SP5 is customizable and fully compatible with high speed assembly lines. It is compact enough to fit all miniature bottle necks and has been used in custom promotions ranging from jewels, to pendants to personal accessories.
