Personal Care Chemicals from NYSCC Suppliers’ Day T  he New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Supplier’s Day, held in May at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center, Edison, NJ, attracted more than 7,000 visitors and over 658 exhibitor booths. Event organizers noted that the majority of attendees were in product development (30%) and visitors came from 39 countries. NYSCC Suppliers’ Day staff attempted to improve on previous shows. For example, thanks to print-at-home badges, there were no lines at registration, noted NYSCC Suppliers’ Day Chairperson Juliana Rumbaugh of Lonza Personal Care. In previous years, attendees often waited up to 45 minutes for badges. “Additionally, social media was a hit and a great way to keep attendees informed throughout the show,” said Rumbaugh. “We look to expand that further in the future.” Here’s a look at a number of suppliers were on hand offering ingredients suitable for various spray applications.
