Latin American Aerosol Production Booms Argentina Leads the Way.... According to the Latin American Aerosol Federation (FLADA), Latin American aerosol production increased 45% between 2007 and 2012, from 1.37 billion units to 1.99 billion. In 2012, Argentina produced more aerosols (52.2%) than all other countries in the region combined. Mexico produced 20.4%, Brazil 18.6%, Chile 1.4% and Other Countries 7.5%. Argentina is also the biggest consumer of aerosols in Latin America, with 12.3 units per capita. It was followed by Chile, with 4.5 units per capita; Brazil (4.1); Mexico (3.1) and Other Countries (0.6). The majority of aerosols produced in the region stayed in the region, with only 4% of products exported to other parts of the world. April 2014 Spray 27
