Onspot appoints new VP of sales Automatic tire chains supplier Onspot named Eric Jones the company’s new VP, Sales & Marketing. He previously served as Director of Marketing, OEM Sales and GM of Muncie Power Products’ snow and ice removal systems division. Chemours debuts new low-GWP refrigerants Chemours, the company recently formed as a spin-off of DuPont’s performance chemicals business, announced the commercialization of two new low GWP refrigerants in the U.S. Opteon™ XP40 (R-449A) and Opteon™ XP10 (R-513A), recently received Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) approval by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These are the first in a growing portfolio of low GWP stationary refrigerants that Chemours will introduce to the U.S. market in the next few years, according to the company. The Opteon refrigerants are designed to ease the transition away from high GWP refrigerants such as R-404A, 507 and 134a.
